Congratulations on the new site, looks good and looking forward to keeping up with the news.
Could there perhaps be a link to this website from the main Pendle Council website (if there is not one already) & perhaps also something in the next newsletter and also on the notice boards. It would be good to see the site more active as it is a great village resource and a one stop shop for visitors wanting information on our village.

Hi Shebbie, Thanks for your comments. There is a link on Pendle Borough Council website, here is the page
http://www.pendle.gov.uk/info/723/parish_and_town_councils/179/pa
rish_councils
also the website is featured on the Newsletter. It is a great idea to have the website name feature on the Public Notice Board and I will raise this with the Vice Chairman.

Good to see a photo from within tha Tower, by K Lawson. How did she manage that. As child we were chased off by a local farmer not allowing us to cross his land to visit the tower, interesing how things may have changed for the better....... I now live in Wales, but one day would love to visit Blako again and see the tower insides, if thats allowed ??
Many thanks for your comments. I understand that Kaz was a visitor from Australia and she managed to get 'special dispensation' on this occasion.
We do hope that you manage to vist Blacko again in the not too distant future.

Parish Council meetings now happen on the 4th Tuesday of every month. Plus there have been no Parish Council meeting minutes or reports for 2014 uploaded at all. Is this because they are somewhere else? If not, any chance they could be uploaded at some point? Thanks
Thanks for pointing out the change in day for parish Council Meetings to Tuesdays.
Apologies for the hickup in uploading meeting minutes. This is being addressed.

From Blacko Notes in the Nelson Leader
?A New Industry
Blacko has a new industry, which announcement is of local interest. Mr Wilkinson is the man who has introduced this industry and all will wish him well in the venture. He has begun the manufacture of potato crisps; his product having been launched as ?Golden King? brand and though his output is limited, the prospects for development are good.?
